FAQs

What is a Microformer?

The Microformer is a spring-based resistance machine designed by Lagree Fitness for at-home use. The Micro is used for high-intensity, low impact resistance training featuring the slow, mindful movements. The base model of the Microformer is 71.1"x18.5"x5.5" and weighs 60 pounds. The fully loaded Micro measures 91.1"x18.5"x5.5" and weighs in at 100 pounds. There are wheels underneath each platform so the Micro can be easily wheeled around, and the handlebars are removable, meaning the Micro will fit under a bed.

What props do you use?

All classes that use props can be done without any extra accessories. Currently you will find classes in the on-demand library using: bungee, hand weights, weighted pole, pulley cables, regular cables, the Bala ring, wrist weights, and ankle weights.

Can I take class with just the base model of the Micro?

YES! Absolutely! I have several classes using just the base model of the Microformer, and most classes can be modified to use just the base model too.

How does the Microformer compare to the Megaformer?

The Microformer was designed as a condensed mini version of the Megaformer for at-home use. One of the biggest differences aside from the size, is how close the Microformer is to the floor, which allows clients to use the floor as an extension of the Microformer.

Which is heavier, the white or black spring?

The black spring is heavier than the white. This means it can be more supportive in Wheelbarrow on the front of the Micro, and more challenging for a Wheelbarrow on the back of the Micro.

Which version of the Micro do you recommend?

I recommend getting the fully loaded model with the “foot strap” option, as it offers the most value and versatility. The foot straps give more length over the hand straps, so definitely opt for those! If you are on a tight budget, I would opt for the base model and a bungee!

There is a white spring (super light) accessory for the Micro that I would highly recommend purchasing and swapping out one of your red springs for it. The white spring gives added challenge on the front of the Micro and makes exercises on the back of the machine, like French Twist, more accessible. *as of August 2022, the Micro comes standard with the white spring

How many classes does monthly membership include?

Monthly membership includes access to the on-demand library and Monday-Friday workout schedule.

What is your cancellation policy?

Membership is month-to-month, so come and go as you please! No lengthy contracts here.

How can I help maintain my form at home on the Microformer?

I recommend using a side mirror or the camera option on your phone to check-in on your form and alignment throughout class. You can also use your eyes to peak down at your knee in lunges to check alignment and even place your hands on your body for self-adjustments, like squaring off your hips.

Do you have a free trial?

We do not, but we do have some classes available on YouTube for you to try us out for free!

What springs are most comparable to 2 black?

One black and one white (slightly lighter than 2 black).

One grey (heavier than 2 black).
